The Pictures Band is an Austin TX variety band specializing in weddings, corporate events, galas/fundraisers, reunions, and all sorts of parties! Voted the Winner of 'BEST AUSTIN WEDDING BAND AWARD'- Austin A-List.

This family based band got together as children back in their early school days when Byron and Robin (brothers) won a talent show at 10-11 yrs of age!. 

Along the way, the band added a friend, Chuck, on the bass, while they were still in school. Some years later, the band auditioned what turned out to be a world-class vocalist in  Chris, as the lead singer and then added other female singers over the years that have also stellar vocalists. They are the Best of the Best, a dynamic and a wonderful addition to the band. The band can add a dancing, High Energy, Interactive horn section (Doctorate degrees and Grammy Nominated) for a middle size group or even add a fiddle (originally from Hank Williams Jr band)  for a more country direction all the way up to a full orchestra size with strings, if you want that! You can count on the members always being the same family of unique members and because we find it to be unethical, we do not engage creating in duplicate bands w random players, so prevalent with much of the competition.

The band has performed around the world for the troops, done celebrity weddings as a Texas wedding band, raised money for worthwhile fundraiser Galas, performed for major corporate events like Tesla, Exxon, Chevron, Dell and even past President Inaugurations!

Continually improving, The Pictures Band has added specific themed stage design (White and/or Black, your choice), and state of the art sound and lighting! Specializing as a variety band with softer dinner music early (if requested) Classics, Motown, 70s, 80s, 90s, Country or little latin  flavor, Current Faves and all other styles of dance music, The Pictures Band definitely BRING THE PARTY!
